Meissner Brothers 111 Main Street Meissner Brothers, Richard A. and Robert A. formed a partnership in 1932 and operated a feed store in the Simon Kocher building shown here, with Richard as the general manager and Robert (Bill) in charge of sales and services. In 1937 they added hardware to the business. On the picture from left to right: Richard, Louis, Robert and Frances (Patty) Meissner. Picture was taken in the early 1930's. This store was originally a shoe store operated by their grandfather, Louis Meissner. Max Stubenhofer operated a bakery here after the feed store closed.
