When Mississippi Valley Poultry was formed Edwin Haag and A. C. Koch were Superintendent and President respectfully.  The incubated eggs and sold chicks to the general public.  They also sold Brooder houses in which to raise the chicks.  In addition to all of that they also purchased eggs from farmers and shipped the eggs to the market.
