The Simon Kocher Building 111 North Main Street This building was known as the Simon Kocher Building before addresses were used in Breese. Simon 'Sam' Kocher operated a saloon at this location. In the 1920's Vernie Meier, the husband of Seloma Kocher, operated a butcher shop, as did Lester 'Sammy' Kocher later. Meissner Brothers Feed Store was located on this site until 1940.

Stubenhofer Bakery was also located here. The building was razed and a new building was erected; it is now occupied by Droege Dental Care.
