Main Street looking south from 1/2 block north of N. 2nd St. SE corner of intersection was Al Jansen's Shoe Repair shop. SW corner the old Kozy Korner tavern, to the north was store with many owners & partners including Hofsommer, Hoffman, Helwig & Partington (Note the horse hitching rail along the street). Next building was Robben & Niemeyer's Clothing (now Foppe Insurance) next was location of many businesses such as: bakery, bus station, Annette’s Sweet Shop, Clancy Confectionary and The Whiz. Presently it’s Edward Jones Investments.
